| The Shasta Wonderland Elite Athletic Team's sole purpose is to promote running and walking in Shasta County. The club puts on four events during the year and the proceeds from those events goes back to the community in the way of college scholarships. Who can Apply? - Any high school senior in Shasta, Trinity, Tehama, Siskiyou, or Lassen counties Requirements: - 3.0 GPA - Must have participated in Cross Country or Track (Running events 800M and longer). - Must be planning to attend college in the Fall and enroll as a full time student. - Must have performed community service during the year. Scholarship renewal: - All scholarships will be a one time distribution, unless otherwise noted. ***Justice Richard W. Abbe *** - Awarded for excellence in academics This scholarships will be of greater value and will be eligible for renewal for one year. |
